On-Call Manager for Home Care

Responsibilities:
Our Providence, RI office has an immediate need for an On-Call Manager to cover nights and weekends. The specific hours of the position will be Monday through Thursday, 5:00pm to 8:30am, and weekends from Friday at 5pm through Monday at 8:30am. The on-call responsibilities will alternate on a weekly basis between two On-Call Managers - one week on, one week off.
This opportunity will allow you to function as an extension of our office team during non-business hours, utilizing your customer service and health-care experience to earn additional income.
As On-Call Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating home health care services for our adult and pediatric clients while the office is closed. You will answer all calls to the office, address them accordingly, and document them on a call log to be forwarded to the office staff after each shift. Typical calls will include questions from families, direction requests, call outs, potential clients, and nurses seeking employment with the office. The ideal candidate will have staff scheduling experience, be proactive at trouble shooting, and be able to multi-task in a calm and compassionate manner.
Training will be two fold: 1) Half-day training will take place in the office during business hours, to acclimate you to our clients, cases and processes. 2) You will also have the chance to shadow a BAYADA On-Call Manager during your first week.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required
- Bachelor's Degree a plus
- Ability to work nights and weekends
- At least 1 year of professional work experience
- Staff scheduling experience (within home care preferred)
- Strong customer service skills
- Demonstrated ability to resolve scheduling and customer service issues
- Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
