About Us
Founded in late 2017 and headquartered in Seattle, WA, we recently opened a second location in Northern Virginia. Lawless Forge brings people closer together through the most exciting experiences imaginable by providing blacksmithing classes to groups of friends, families, colleagues, as well as the public. Each person uses a hammer, anvil, and fire to transform hot steel into a knickknack to take home. Our 3-hour classes are designed with the absolute beginner in mind, so no prior experience is required!
About the Job
We are seeking a highly motivated and adaptable Customer Service Representative to join our young and rapidly growing company. You will provide customers with exceptional service by handling inquiries, resolving issues, and acting in the best interest of the company. This role requires strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to ensure customer satisfaction.
Your top priorities are to:
- Provide every customer with an unparalleled reservation experience
- Maintain complete accuracy of the customer reservation calendar to ensure all events are accounted for and allow management to staff properly
- Upsell and cross-sell additional products/services to customers, maximizing revenue opportunities while maintaining a customer-centric approach
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to enhancing the overall customer service experience
- Document processes and procedures for use in future staff training
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional and friendly demeanor
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet to resolve customer issues
- Proficient in using email, phone systems, and online communication tools
- Experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
- Experience with online booking systems and customer relationship management (CRM) software is a plus
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Sales-oriented mindset with a demonstrated ability to identify upselling opportunities
- Positive attitude, resilience, and a customer-centric approach
- Ability to adapt to change in a dynamic, rapidly growing organization
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
- Prior knowledge of blacksmithing is not required but training will be provided
Hours and Location:
- Standard Hours: Monday-Friday; 8am-5pm PST (1 hour lunch break)
- Location: Remote/work-from-home; work hours align with company headquarters (Seattle/PST)
