Toll Collection Services is seeking suitable and ambitious candidates for the role of Part Time Supervisor on a Fixed Term Contract, based on the toll plaza at Kilcock on the M4 motorway.
This role will require flexibility to suit the business needs. Start and finish times may vary from week to week, and you will be required to work all shifts as per roster.
The Part Time Toll Supervisor will:
· Report issues to the Monitor Controller and liaise on a daily basis with TCS Tolling Contract Manager, when applicable.
· Address any query, request for assistance or complaint, which may be received from a toll collector/customer during the course of duty.
· Liaise with any user when required to do so, in particular, in relation to complaints or users with no means of payment.
· Be in attendance with the Cash Collection Company during the execution of the cash collection procedure.
· Continually supervise and patrol the plaza lanes on foot throughout your shift and assist users in the Automatic Cash Machines.
· Check, record and manage stock of consumables required to carry out daily duties and replenish such items as necessary.
· Monitor the cash reconciliation and deposit activities in the cash room when operationally possible.
Additionally the manual aspects of the job include the following:
· Transit to the toll booths at the mainline toll plaza from the administration building will be on foot and must be carried out with extreme care as it involves using a number of steps to access and egress the underground tunnel which allows passage from one side of the plaza to the other.
· Constant monitoring and patrolling of toll lanes
· Monitoring levels and topping up of coin hoppers with the use of a ladder at regular intervals throughout your shift.
· Transporting of vault bags and coin weighing up to 10kgs to and from the plaza via a rucksack
· The removal and insertion of coin vaults as required throughout your shift.
· Assisting the Cash Collection Company with the delivery and collection of coin vaults and coin transport bins.
· The processing of coin vaults and monies through the cash processing machine.
· Must be willing to carry out duties as a lone worker during overnight operations.
Personal specification:
· Previous Customer Service experience (1 Year minimum)
· Excellent communication and customer service skills are necessary.
· Excellent attention to detail
· Self-motivated and enthusiastic
· Ability to be flexible with working hours.
· Ability to multi-task in a busy environment
