Acute Care hospital is looking for a highly motivated and energeti! c Occupational Therapist to join the team in their Pediatric Rehab Unit. Candidates must be willing to support a friendly, positive and professional environment.

Additional Requirements/Information:

• Interested candidates must have 2 years of pediatric rehab experience
• Candidates must be currently licensed or eligible for licensure as an OT and/or registered as an Occupational Therapist per state requirements.

An occupational therapist (OT) is responsible for providing assistance to patients who need help performing a wide variety of activities, especially daily needs (e.g., dressing, cooking, eating, driving, etc.) and motor skills. In addition, occupational therapy requires an OT to perform comprehensive at-home and job-site evaluations, and maintain an open line of communication with patients’ family members and caregivers. They may have a number of specialties, including:
Acute
Hand
Home health
Long-term ! care
Outpatient
Pediatric
Psychiatric
Rehabili! tation
School

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of pediatric OT experience required

Preferred Qualifications

• RI license
