Occupational Therapist - Skilled - (OT)

StartDate: 09/30/2013 Available Shifts: 8 D ! Pay Rate: 43.50 *

Well respected skilled nursing facility (SNF) is seeking an Occupational Therapist who is highly motivated and energetic to join the team. Candidates must be willing to support a friendly, positive and professional environment.

Additional Requirements/Information:

• Ideal candidates will have 1 year of experience
• Physical Therapist will provide coverage in skilled nursing facility (SNF)
• Regionally recognized rehab company
• Candidates must be currently licensed or eligible for licensure as an OT and/or registered as an Occupational Therapist per state requirements.

An occupational therapist (OT) is responsible for providing assistance to patients who need help performing a wide variety of activities, especially daily needs (e.g., dressing, cooking, eating, driving, etc.) and motor skills. In addition, occupational therapy requires an OT to perform comprehensive at-home and job-site eva! luations, and maintain an open line of communication with pati! ents’ family members and caregivers. They may have a number of specialties, including:

Acute

Hand

Home health

Long-term care

Outpatient

Pediatric

Psychiatric

Rehabilitation

School

Required Qualifications

• RI license
• 2+ years of post clinical experience
• Recent SNF experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Rehab Optima experience
