Functions as an integral member of a busy Emergency Department Team as an independent medical provider working in direct collaboratio! n with a Physician, caring for patients with mixed acuity and age ranges.

A Masters or Advanced degree with APRN or NCCPA Certification, at least 1 year of Emergency Department experience, ACLS and PALS Certifications and RI State RNP or PA license is required. Preference is given to applicants with training for both adult and pediatric medicine. Experience with common Emergency Department procedures is also recommended, including suturing, abscess incision and drainage, fracture immobilization, lumbar puncture, and slit lamp/tonometry skills. Credentialed appointment to the KCMH Medical Staff. Qualified candidates must be able to work 12 hour day and/or evening shifts.
