Emergency Medicine - Level 1 - (ER - Level 1) Locum Tenens

Hospital with a Emergency Department that was renovated in 2008 is currently seeking qualified Emergency Medicine physicians. This role is to support the existing Emergency Medicine team and their ongoing schedules. Responsibilities include seeing patients in a 36,000 annual volume ED with shifts ranging between 8, 9 and 10 hours.
Working primarily in emergency rooms, Emergency medicine physicians (locum tenens) are tasked with making high stakes life management decisions in times of immediate crisis. EM physicians regularly deal with complex trauma and exotic conditions, and are highly trained in the stabilization and treatment of a wide range of both adult and pediatric injuries and illnesses.
Required Qualifications
Must be Board Certified in Emergency Medicine and must have a Rhode Island license or in the process of obtaining a Rhode Island license.
