Job Description for Pediatric Emergency Room Nurses:
Pediatric ER RNs start IVs, perform catheterizations to collect urines, collect stool samples, perform basic eye exams, obtain vital signs, perform head to toe assessments, administer medications, carry out parent and patient teaching, perform CPR, administer blood, help with splinting of broken bones, as well as a variety of other duties.
