This is an opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility as part of a multi-disciplinary treatment team committed to improving the lives of children. Mount Pleas! ant Academy is a day treatment facility for children ages 4-14 with psychiatric challenges. We seek a registered nurse for a part-time, 3-month position, (M-F), starting in early August 2013. Up to 20 hours per week.SPECIFIC DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities include daily administration of medication, communication withfacility clinical staff, parents, and outside providers, record maintenance, routine pediatric first-aid, and other school-health related duties.
QUALIFICATIONS: RI Nursing License required. BSN highly desired. Experience/familiarity with mental health, DSM, and psychotropic medications highly desirable.
