SPECIMEN COLLECTOR

Location: Narragansett, RI
Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday through Friday (Part time also available)
Pay Rate: $10.00-$15.00 per hour, DOE

Job Description:
Specimen Collector needed for local doctor office. Both a Full and Part-time shift is available. Full time hours are 8A-5P Mon-Fri. Part time hours are 8A-12Noon, Mon-Fri. Occasional Saturday's may be requested. The ideal candidate will collect various types of specimens through urinalysis and/or venipunture in a high volume setting. Must have the ability to process specimens for shipment, and perform data entry of patient information while maintaining the h! ighest of patient care standards.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED
• A minimum of 1 year paid related experience
• Ability to perform phlebotomy
• Customer service attitude
• Data entry skills
• Pass a drug screen and criminal background check
• Proven and verifiable track record of dependability with a strong work ethic

Preference given to candidates who possess the following skills:

• Previous experience as a Medical Assistant, Phlebotomist or CNA
• Pediatrics and/or Geriatrics experience
• Bilingual
