Under the direct supervision of the Clinical Manager and the general supervision of the Professional Registere! d Nurse, assists in caring for patient and/or families from admission to discharge with consideration of the aging process throughout the lifespan, including all developmental states as well as cultural patterns.
Formula Room Aide additional responsibilities - prepares infant formula, ketogenic diets and specialty diets for pediatric inpatient population at Hasbro Children's Hospital. Maintain supplies specific to formula room. Maintain Formula Room as per Joint Commission standards.
Qualifications :
High school graduate or its equivalent.
Entry level credentialing of selected skills.
Current Rhode Island registration as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
Certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
Basic knowledge of the hospital’s patient care delivery orientation program.
Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to patients throughout the life span, with consideration of aging pr! ocesses, human development stages and cultural patterns in eac! h step of the care process.
Experience :
Two years medical surgical experience.
Pediatric experience preferred.
