Reports to Physician Practice Manager to provide direct patient care to a specific patient population served by a physician practic! e. Such activities may include, but are not limited to, such duties as patient education, administering immunizations, starting IVs, administering medications. Prepares and maintains related records and reports. Local clinicians are ultimately responsible for the delivery of clinical care by the RN.
Qualifications :
Registered nurse with current license to practice within the State of Rhode Island.
At least one year professional nursing experience, preferably within a clinic setting. Such experience required demonstrated skills necessary to provide care for a specific patient population serviced by the physician practice -- pediatric or adult/geriatric -- including effective consideration of the aging processes, human developmental stages and cultural patterns.
