Roles and Responsibilities
- Performing AI related research work
- Initiating and developing innovative technologies and executing AI research projects using machine learning technologies in the fields on medical imaging, industrial inspection and other fields.
- Working on developing and applying novel deep learning algorithms for solving real life challenging problems
- Working with other researchers across GE Research and with healthcare business units’ teams in defining projects, understanding needs, sharing common solutions, and developing technologies and solutions.
- Implement algorithms mostly in Linux and Python environments
Required Qualifications
- PhD in computer science or related fields, working in the fields of machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, medical imaging
- Good knowledge of the field and recent advances
- Experience in Python, TensorFlow/ PyTorch, on Linux and Windows platforms
- Experience in implementing high performance algorithms.
- Fluent in English

- Good communication skills
- Good system level understanding
- Postdoc and/or grant submission experience
