The Department of Biology is looking for a Programme Coordinator for the Oxford Martin Programme on Biodiversity and Society.
You will have a varied and interesting role, entailing taking the initiative and working as part of a team, with responsibilities ranging from engaging with other relevant initiatives around Oxford, supporting people working on the ground within our study sites, website maintenance, to events organisation, team management, project administration, and writing project briefing notes and reports.
You will have an undergraduate degree or equivalent relevant experience, administrative and organisational experience, excellent spoken and written communication skills, an ability to interact effectively with team members including senior academics and external partners, and with a broad range of contacts from a wide range of backgrounds and nationalities, the ability to maintain a website and social media, to work independently and as a member of a team. You will also have a demonstrable interest in biodiversity and its relationship with society.
