Description: Brown University is currently interviewing Staff Physician right now, this occupation will be situated in Rhode Island. More details about this occupation opportunity kindly read the description below. The staff physician provides patient focused primary medical care to students of Brown University. In addition the staff physician participates in Continuous Quality Improvement activities and oth! er administrative duties in support of achieving the objectives of Brown Health Services. Hours are primarily full-time during the academic year (late August ? May) and includes regular weekend and early evening shifts, as well as limited coverage during the summer.

Job Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine ( MD ) or Doctor of Osteopathy ( DO ) Degree, Rhode Island Medical License and DEA license prior to appointment required.
• Board Certification in primary care specialty (internal medicine, pediatrics or family medicine) required.
• Two or more years of demonstrated post residency experience in ambulatory primary care or two year fellowship in adolescent medicine required.
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work with diverse population, ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally with parents, staff, and others
• Demonstrated ability to work with computers including comfort with email, word pro! cessing, keyboarding, etc.
• Experience working with co! llege population, experience in office gynecology, experience in office orthopedics and experience or training in sports medicine preferred.
