Description: Brown University is currently interviewing Staff Physician right now, this occupation will be situated in Rhode Island. In addition the staff physician participates in Continuous Quality Improvement activities an! d other administrative duties in support of achieving the objectives of Brown Health Services. Hours are primarily full-time during the academic year (late August ? May) and includes regular weekend and early evening shifts, as well as limited coverage during the summer.

Job Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine ( MD ) or Doctor of Osteopathy ( DO ) Degree, Rhode Island Medical License and DEA license prior to appointment required.
• Board Certification in primary care specialty (internal medicine, pediatrics or family medicine) required.
• Two or more years of demonstrated post residency experience in ambulatory primary care or two year fellowship in adolescent medicine required.
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work with diverse population, ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally with parents, staff, and others
• Demonstrated ability to work with computers including comfort with email, wor! d processing, keyboarding, etc.
• Experience working wi! th college population, experience in office gynecology, experience in office orthopedics and experience or training in sports medicine preferred.
